Situated on the 7th floor of Tokyo Skytree Town Solamachi's East Yard, right on the planetarium concourse, SOL'S COFFEE SOLAMACHI features a specialty coffee selection that highlights distinct roasts and growing regions. Guests can select their beans for hand-drip brews, with choices ranging from rotating daily coffees to single origins from Ethiopia, Guatemala, and Kenya. Baristas brew each cup to order, whether that means a light-roast iced coffee with vibrant fruit acidity or a dark roast that finishes cleanly.
Cafe lattes brewed with concentrated, bold espresso are a house staple, balancing bittersweet espresso with milk's natural sweetness. Orders can be tailored to individual tastes with oat milk or soy milk substitutions, or swapped to decaf.
For a sweet pairing, the counter serves affogato featuring slow gelato's milk gelato, churned with cane sugar and Abe Farm's ASO MILK. The bitter, gently acidic espresso pours over lightly sweetened gelato, creating a satisfying contrast between cold cream and warm coffee depth. The menu also includes sandwiches on bread baked in-house using the yudane method, as well as refreshing seasonal craft sodas.
Seating is available beside the ordering counter and along the corridor space out front, and takeaway drinks can also be enjoyed on nearby benches. Open until 21:00, the shop provides an easy stop before or after visiting the observation decks or planetarium.
